As Asset Manager (all genders) you are responsible for managing all aspects of our engines portfolio whether on or off lease. Furthermore you support, when required, all commercial activities in conjunction with the Asset Management and the Leasing Team.
YOUR TASKS
- Build and maintain strong and trusting relationships with business partners to support engine acquisitions and sales, within an international B2B environment both face-to-face and remote
- Day-to-day Business for Asset Management incl. working closely with the relevant MLS as well as MTU network regarding commercial, technical and legal matters to meet our customers’ needs
- Responsible to deploy and execute the best possible scenario in order to preserve the residual value of assigned Asset projects
- Ensure engines are acquired in alignment with the portfolio management team
- Responsible for shop visit management (including, work scoping, support of table inspections participation, budget control etc.)
- Leading contract negotiations
- Ensure asset compliance with business case provisions during term of ownership
- Manage engine teardowns with both internal and external vendors in line with the business case
- Select repair vendors, review and approve repair and purchase invoices to ensure compliance with asset provisions and existing contracts
- Using SAP to define minimum stock levels, create and manage repair orders for engine parts post-inspection in collaboration with the used material team
- Support the day to day management of owned assets, including execution of engine sales, in close collaboration with portfolio team
- Manage Vendors via, if required, dedicated strategic GTAs and perform vendor performance reviews
- Stay up-to-date with in-service-issues, ADs, Alert SB etc. in order to detect trends that can drive Engine demands
- Co-ordinate with logistics, material management, lease and portfolio management teams
YOUR PROFILE
- Several years of relevant working experience in Engine (Technical) Field
- Completed degree preferred in the field of (aviation) engineering
- You have successfully completed a minimum of 2 years working in Aviation and you are keen to do much more
