Housekeeping Assistant Manager – Soho House Amsterdam
The role…
We are looking for a passionate and experienced Housekeeping Assistant Manager to work with our fantastic Housekeeping team. You will be responsible for supporting our Housekeeping Manager in: planning, organising, and developing the overall operation of the housekeeping department
In this role you must have previous experience with high standards, working with a large, diverse team and also have great attention to detail.

Responsibilities include
- Monitor all the daily operations of the housekeeping department, including the cleanliness of all guest rooms and public areas daily
- Support in hiring, and train hotel housekeeping staff to adhere to our high standards of cleanliness and customer satisfaction
- Manage and report any issues such as room damage or maintenance requests to the front office
- To regularly inspect all fixtures, fittings and appliances
- Review Mystery Shop reports, action and train the team to the highest standards
Requirements
- Have +2 years of experience as Assistant Housekeeping Manager or +5 as a Housekeeping Supervisor
- Have time management, organisation and admin skills.
- Have the ability to perform by example for your team.
- Must have a passion for hospitality and guest satisfaction.
- Fluent in English is a must (any other language is a +).
