Objective
Daily tasks
Quality assurance: Oversee operational processes to ensure service quality and compliance with hotel standards.
Hospitality: Contribute to an excellent guest experience by proactively responding to guests’ needs, solving problems quickly and handling complaints efficiently and effectively.
Link between operational departments: Ensure good communication between departments so that they are always aware of the support needed and bottlenecks are resolved.
Problem solving: Respond quickly and effectively to operational problems and unexpected situations to minimise disruptions.
Projecten
Process improvement: Analyse existing processes, identify inefficiencies, propose and implement improvements.
Up-to-date safety protocols: Ensuring that all safetyprotocols and instructions are always up-to-date and regularly reviewing them based on new legislation or guidelines.
Regulations: Implementing new regulations or standards within the organisation.
Teamwork and collaboration
Support to department managers: Daily management and support to team members with focus on coaching and promoting their professional development.
- 2-3 years’ experience within hotel or restaurant operations.
- Proven leadership experience in managing teams, including staff development and team coaching.
- A completed education at the Hotel School provides a strong foundation for this position.
- Communication skills: communicate effectively with various team members and external partners.
- Leadership: motivating teams, coaching, supporting managers and managing supervisors with a focus on professional growth.
- Organisational skills: manage time and resources efficiently, prioritise and create a structured working environment.
- Flexibility: quickly switch between tasks and perform in a dynamic environment.
- The position requires flexibility in working days and hours. This will include weekends and public holidays, depending on the needs of the operation.
- Working in the hospitality industry with a dynamic, international and vibrant atmosphere.
- Participation in professional development programmes and training.
