The Team
Within the Omni Planning & Allocation team, our mission is to drive commercial trade, financial planning, demand forecasting, and allocation & replenishment of inventory across all channels and categories, whilst setting strategic guardrails on product promotions and markdown decisions to maximize margin and profitability. This position's team serves as the backbone of our department, collaborating closely with Buying/Merchandising, DTC Channel teams (eCom, FP, Outlet), Hubs, and Finance to ensure that all inventory and product decisions are aligned with company-wide planning and allocation decisions. With an integral position in the team, the role contributes significantly to the department's operational efficiency, strategic growth, and overall success.
The Position
As Senior Planner Ecom Site & Marketplace, you will be crucial to the Omni Planning & Allocation team, contributing to the development and execution of merchandise financial planning for the Ecom site and marketplace partners. You will work closely with Trade, Buying and Ecom channel teams & marketplace counterparts to ensure that there is plan alignment and sales, margin, and inventory targets are met. This role is vital for achieving the Omni Planning and Allocation objectives and your work will be key to the commercial success of the TH brand.
Key Responsibilities:
• Merchandise plan: Develop a Merchandise Plan for the Ecom site and marketplace partners, including seasonal sales, and margin targets, to feed into wider merchandise planning and buying processes, and in close partnership marketplace strategy, planning counterparts, commercial teams, and buying strategy
• Seasonal reviews: Conduct seasonal hind sighting & determine forward strategy for Ecom and Marketplace channels, in collaboration with buying & Marketplace counterparts
• Store reviews: Input into Planning store clusters & range plans based ecom site location needs, with input from Planning, Ecom channel leads, and marketplace counterparts
• Marketplace Buying budget: Develop the buying budget & overall buy quantification for Marketplace to ensure plan (sales/stock) targets are met, in collaboration with Buying & Marketplace counterparts.
• Marketplace Final Buy quantification: Conduct / Review sizing of buy to quantify SKU-level volumes and pass off final buy ahead of marketplace buy deadlines. Monitor size analysis and strategy
• Marketplace Reporting & Analytics: Building and sharing sell in & sell out reports of wholesale accounts and providing direction for marketplace strategy, including Account seasonal deep dives
• Allocation framework: Determine and continuously optimize initial allocation for Ecom site/store and seasonal & NOS replenishment plans, in collaboration with Planning and Allocation teams
• Open-to-buy: Input into the open-to-buy (WSSI monthly forecasting) process with Merchandise Planning counterparts to provide insights and inputs from Ecom & Marketplace trade performance, to identify opportunities and risks; propose and drive actions to maximize sales and profitability
• Promotion & markdown: Provide guidance on financial guardrails & partner with Merchandise Planning counterparts to align discounts for promotional activity and EOS markdowns for Ecom site/marketplace partners, in accordance with product group level targets and commercial decisions. Balance margin preservation with inventory clearance.
• Continuous improvement: Implement and exploit new systems and processes to continually increase team efficiency.
• Team Training: Act as a mentor for more junior members of the merchandise planning team, supporting in training.

• Stock management: stock turn
• Planning accuracy: high levels of planning accuracy across all merchandise plans
Requirements
• 4-7+ years of experience in merchandise planning, financial planning or commercial planning within Ecommerce channel for fashion, retail, or consumer goods environment.
• Marketplace/partner program ecommerce planning experience
• Strong understanding of merchandise planning, markdown and promotion management to drive sales and margin growth.
• Commercial and results-driven mindset, with the ability to balance short-term trading needs with long-term strategic planning.
• Strong analytical skills with experience in data-driven decision-making, leveraging insights to optimize merchandise planning strategies.
• Proven stakeholder management skills, collaborating effectively with Buying, Marketplace teams, Channel leadership, Marketing, Trade, Site / Commercial planning and Allocation teams.
• Expertise in managing omni-channel inventory flows and demand forecasting using merchandising planning tools and software (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
• Problem solving: sound understanding of how to solve complex problems and critically assess the solutions required
• Highly adaptable and proactive, thriving in a fast-paced, evolving retail environment.
• Fluency in English
• Education: Bachelor's degree in business, finance, economics or retail preferred
