We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Truck Driver. As a Truck Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the timely and safe transportation of goods. Also, you will be driving an electric truck! If you meet the following requirements and are eager to work in a positive and dynamic environment, we encourage you to apply.
You'll be on the road daily with one of the 125 electric trucks, transporting goods to and from customers in a clean and environmentally friendly manner. This could involve containers as well as open or closed trailers. You'll frequently follow set routes and schedules within the Netherlands, ensuring you're back home at the depot every evening to recharge the vehicle. As a truck driver, you'll be responsible for conducting pre-trip inspections, driving safely and handling cargo with care during loading and unloading. Communication with dispatchers, clients, and fellow drivers is crucial for providing delivery updates. Ensuring vehicle maintenance and safety, along with problem-solving skills, are highly valued qualities in this role. The job as a truck driver includes:
- a full-time work month;
- driving responsibily;
- willingness to sometimes work on weekends.
Qualifications
Not just anyone can become a truck driver. There are a few requirements you need to meet, to be eligble for this job as a truck driver. You need:
- a valid truck driver's license (CE);
- a code 95 certification;
- communication skills in English;
- some experience in the transport industry.
