Welcome to Mr. Jordaan's house, a small boutique hotel nestled in the heart of the Jordaan with 34 rooms. But we're not just any boutique hotel. To start, Mr. Jordaan is a haven for travelers, and we go the extra mile to make people genuinely feel at home. Our interaction with guests goes beyond the usual check-in and check-out procedures. We provide our guests with a unique and unforgettable experience, showing them Amsterdam and the Jordaan through our eyes. Service and genuine interest play a crucial role in this. For instance, during breakfast, as our guests savor freshly baked croissants and share their plans for the day with us, we jump in with our personal favorite spots and attractions. These moments of personal connection continue throughout the day. At Mr. Jordaan, it's all about personal attention and exceeding expectations.
Your Day
As an operational team member at Mr. Jordaan, no day is the same. We're a small hotel with no distinct departments, so everyone gets to be truly versatile. This way, you'll experience all facets of the operation! Examples of your responsibilities include:
- Taking care of breakfast
- Checking in and out our guests
- Facilitating the common areas
You are...
A multitasking hospitality hero with a fresh perspective, a hands-on mentality, and a proactive attitude. Together with the team, you aim to deliver the highest quality and strive to exceed our guests' expectations. You adore the Jordaan, have a fondness for Amsterdam, and reside in the area. Experience in the hotel industry is a plus, but a strong command of at least Dutch and English is a requirement. Both full-timers and part-timers are warmly welcomed here.

Welkom in het huis van Mr. Jordaan. Een klein boetiekhotel in het hartje van de Jordaan met 34 kamers. Wij zijn echter niet zomaar een boetiekhotel. Om te beginnen is Mr. Jordaan een thuis voor reizigers en doen we er alles aan om mensen oprecht thuis te laten voelen. Bij ons gaat het contact met de gasten verder dan de gewoonlijke check-in en check-out procedure. We geven onze gasten namelijk een uniek en onvergetelijk verblijf. Dit doen we door ze Amsterdam en de Jordaan door onze ogen te laten beleven. Service en oprechte interesse spelen hierin een cruciale rol. Tijdens het ontbijt bijvoorbeeld, waar onze gasten van de versgebakken croissantjes genieten en ze hun plannen van de dag met ons delen, springen wij bij met onze persoonlijke favoriete plekjes en bezienswaardigheden. Dit soort momenten van persoonlijk contact blijft zich gedurende dag voortzetten. Bij Mr. Jordaan draait het allemaal om persoonlijke aandacht en het overtreffen van verwachtingen.
