Finance Wholesale Banking is looking for a Financial Accounting Controller with a curious financial mindset and a desire to work and learn in a dynamic and internationally oriented finance team at our CEDAR head office in Amsterdam. The position provides the opportunity to develop and learn in all areas of responsibility covered by our team.
The team
Wholesale Banking Finance - the department of the Wholesale Banking CFO – is an entrepreneurial team empowering our business partners with valuable information, controls and advice. The various teams with a total over 50 colleagues have global eposure supporting and challenging the business on 40 locations across the globe.
The Global Financial Reporting & Controls team within WB Finance is responsible for the global oversight, challenge and coordination of financial reporting and related reporting controls within Wholesale Banking Finance.
The team is the primary contact for financial reporting and control topics for the Wholesale Banking network. The team consists of five members, is highly agile and works mostly on project basis. The team packed with knowledge and eperience ready to support you with your work and learning journey.
Roles and responsibilities
Our team mission is to ensure the Wholesale Banking Reporting & Controls environment is best in class. To achieve this, you will work with other team members on;
- Deep dives on specific reporting and control themes within Wholesale Banking and provide advice to the Wholesale Banking network;
- Accounting, Reporting and Control best practice sharing with the WB Network; Coordination and oversight of the Financial Reporting and SO
- processes;
- Roll-out the Financial Reporting and Controls framework for Wholesale Banking; Interactions with internal and e
- ternal auditors;
- Global Finance Wholesale Banking projects and PARP’s (Product Approval and Review Process).

Furthermore, you have:
- Current residency in the Netherlands;
- (Proven) affinity with financial reporting and controls; 0-24 months ma of relevant work e
- perience (preferably in a Financial Controlling and/or reporting position);
- An (ongoing) education at University (Master) level- MBA, preferably in the areas of accountancy, business administration, Finance, and control, but other areas might be a good fit as well;
- Affinity with technological developments, Business Intelligence, and data;
- A curious mindset and positive attitude with a proven ability and willingness to develop yourself.
