Global Food Quality Intern

We have an excellent opportunity available for a result-driven Bachelor or Master student who is interested in making a difference in Global Food Safety and Quality at Kraft Heinz! You will be supporting the Global Food Safety and Quality department while developing to your fullest potential within this internship.

The Positions
Every internship at Kraft Heinz Netherlands offers unique opportunities to develop new knowledge and skills, gain real business experience, get exposure to senior leadership and attend tailored training. As an intern, you will take ownership of projects and work closely with the business on day-to-day challenges.

Tasks throughout the various roles can include

  • Support project coordination, communication and documentation activities within:

    o Food Safety and Quality Risk Mitigation Projects

    o Food Safety and Quality Process Improvement for Suppliers and External Factories

    – Analyze information and support the New Growth POD team

    – Analyze information and support the SCQM team

    – SCQM Performance analysis and

    Some specific activities that will be the responsibility of the FSQ intern:

    – Complaint management

    – Perform root-cause analyses

    – Join Agile sprints and update related information

    – SCQM Performance analysis and follow-up management

    – Perform supportive tasks related to external manufacturer audits and quality improvement meetings


Qualifications
Job requirements:
  • You are enrolled at a European university during at least 50% of the duration of the internship.
  • You are at the end of your bachelor, or in your master’s degree
    • Food Processing or Food/Quality educational background (or a similar field)
  • You have good knowledge of the English language, both written and spoken.
  • NOTE EU working rights are required! (Either you have EU Citizenship, or you are studying in the Netherlands).
  • Kraft Heinz does NOT provide a working Visa

Specific Team Requirements:

– Food Quality Management/ Food Technology/Food Safety Bachelors/Masters student

– HACCP, food operational knowledge, and risk management are essential.

– Product development experience is a plus.

– You are precise with data, analytical and result driven.

  • Computer proficiency: including Microsoft Office Suite of products including Microsoft Office Excel (advanced) and PowerPoint.
  • Interpersonal Skills: At Kraft Heinz you’ll easily be exposed to senior management, no matter your level. Therefore, it’s meaningful you have excellent communication skills, to deal with all kinds of different team members.
  • Ability to Simplify: We like to keep it simple. And to execute fast. Your ability to simplify will be highly appreciated, when you provide simple solutions dealing with complex challenges.

What we offer you :


Program start date: October 2025.


Duration: 6 – 6.5 months.


Allowance: 625 euro per month (40hrs, 5 days) & full reimbursement of travel expenses.


Location: Nijmegen/Amsterdam.


This is a hybrid position, you will need to be based in the Netherlands for the entire duration of the internship.
