The Group, Meeting & Events Department is responsible for all group-, meeting- and events bookings in our hotels in The Netherlands and Germany. As you can imagine we have a big impact with our bookings in the hotel and of course to the revenues. We are always in contact with a lot of different departments and translating the wishes of our clients/guests towards the operational departments.

This is what you're going to do
In this role you are going to use all your sales skills to organize the group, meetings and events for our German hotels and Park Centraal Amsterdam. Our Booking Office is part of our HQ in Amsterdam Centre and it's a vibrant department. but you will work from Park Centraal Amsterdam, located next to Vondelpark.
Manage and respons to Group, Meeting & Events requests from all channels.
Build and strenghten relationships with existing and new customers.
Cooperate with the other commercial- and operational departments.
Arrange and carry out hotel show rounds.
Stakeholder Management (e.g. with Hotel Manager, Sales Manager, Revenue Manager).
Financial related tasks as preparing invoices, pro forma’s, commission handling etc.
Taking care of reporting with regards to conversion and revenues.
After sales calls and evaluations.

You are a people’s person who can encourage guests for our hotels and want to make every event possible and unburden the guest. Besides that, it’s important that you have an eye for detail and think along and come with solutions. You’re not afraid to work under time pressure. People describe you as a detail oriented, organization pro and last but not least, you like to work hard, but also play hard.
You currently live in or around Amsterdam and you are eligible to work in the Netherlands (without sponsorship).
In combination with:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
Prior experience in a similar position preferrable.
High level of German and English is a must (speaking and writing)
Knowledge of Shiji PMS is a big bonus
You are super commercial and have a passion for hospitality
Excellent social and communication skills
Team player, but certainly also capable of working independently.
