The Role
As an HR Business Partner, you act as a trusted advisor to local managers and leadership. You play a pivotal role in translating and implementing HR strategies, policies, and processes that drive business performance. With a hands-on and approachable style, you maintain a strong presence on the floor, staying close to daily operations. This enables you to understand the local context, engage effectively with teams, and support a culture of development, collaboration, and success.
Your responsibilities include:
- Advising and coaching managers on HR matters including performance, absence, and development
- Accompany and support employees throughout their career path at Gate Gourmet, fostering growth and engagement
- Identifying HR trends and supporting continuous improvement of HR processes
- Supporting organizational change and cultural development initiatives
- Ensuring compliance with labor laws, company policies, and collective labor agreements
- Leading and participating in projects on topics like sustainable employability and employer branding
- Collaborating with the central HR team and other sites across the region
- Absence/ case management
What you bring:
- At least 5 years of experience as a HR Business Partner or in a similar role
- Experience in a production, logistics, hospitality or catering environment is essential
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in HRM, Business Administration, or related field
- Solid knowledge of Dutch labor law, Wet Verbetering Poortwachter and experience working with collective labor agreements
- Strong advisory and stakeholder management skills with a practical mindset
- Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on support
- Fluent in Dutch and English, both spoken and written

- 32-40 hours per week
- 8% vacation allowance

- Travel allowance based on € 0,21 per km.

Important Requirements:
