For the Ardena Business Unit based in Oss, we are looking for an Intern
WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON
At Ardena you will work on chemical processes to make Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (API).
In this internship you will learn about the chemical process development and scale-up of API and working in the pharmaceutical industry.
YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform (flow-)syntheses of small molecules in the laboratory
Develop and implement chemical processes in order to facilitate scale-up to the pilot plant. - You keep yourself up-to-date with the latest developments, insights and techniques
- You will report to the internship supervisor
YOUR PROFILE
- You are studying for a BSc or MSc degree with strong focus on (synthetic) organic chemistry.
• You are looking for a final internship in the pharmaceutical industry
• You have training in organic synthesis and know your way around a fumehood
• Preferably, you have hands-on experience with flow chemistry
• You like to learn and develop yourself
• You have good communication skills and are fluent in English
• You love creative thinking and pro-activeness
