The Position
At Tommy Jeans we’re looking for a trend sensitive Junior Accessories Designer with high taste level to join our dynamic design team. You’ll be at the heart of our creative process. If you live and breathe fashion and street style, have a sharp eye for detail, and can translate this into fresh designs, this is your chance to help shape the future of Tommy Jeans Accessories!
Key Responsibilities:
Research global accessory trends and details, reflecting the Tommy Jeans brand DNA, creating seasonal mood boards to inspire the collection.
Design and execute technical specs for seasonal accessories collections
Create and update digital overviews of the collection
Create layouts for internal and external presentations
Upload technical specs on our online database PLM
Presentation preparations; displaying samples and transporting samples between HQ and showrooms
Assist the Senior designers on daily tasks
Participate on product comments and fitting sessions with the product development team and factories.
Collaborate with the product development and the merchandise team to ensure the products meet the company’s standards and target pricing.
The Ideal Candidate:
Degree in Product Design, Fashion Design or Accessories design (or equivalent)
Minimum of 1 year work experience in a design role (accessories ideally)
High taste level and eye for the Tommy Jeans customer DNA
Expertise in Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and/or other 3D software
Strong skills in technical 2D and 3D sketching
Highly organized, with excellent time management
A strong team player with great communication skills
Able to work at high pace being flexible and taking initiative
Highly professional approach with ambition to grow and develop
Fluent in English both written and spoken
