About this opportunity:


We are excited to announce the opportunity to join Ericsson as a Manager Material Management . The Line Management role will manage a team of Material Planners, supporting the Hardware Services business, with a focus on performance, cost and efficiency. The team is diverse in Europe and the United States.


What you will do:


  • Lead and manage the material planning team across the EMEA and Americas regions, ensuring effective coordination, communication, and team development.
  • Develop and implement strategies for inventory optimization, demand forecasting, and delivery performance.
  • Ensure cost-effectiveness and efficiency, closely monitoring adherence to processes and models in service delivery.
  • Actively contribute to cross-functional team governance and manage escalations as needed.
  • Oversee financial approval related to inventory investments and forecast responsibilities.
  • Monitor the finance of the cost centre, analyzing main spend elements, conducting root cause analysis, and presenting results to stakeholders.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional development within the team.
  • Apply Service Delivery Strategy through unit level tactical plan.
  • Drive continuous process improvement thru innovation and automation.
  • Ensures operational and financial compliance to the Ericsson business processes


The skills you bring:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
  • Proven experience in material management within a service logistics environment.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing teams across multiple regions, focusing on performance, competence, and well-being.
  • Proficiency in leading teams using advanced planning tools, such as Baxter Planning or similar systems.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience in financial oversight, including inventory investments and cost centre management.
  • Proven experience and skills in Project / Change / Transformation Management.
