WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:
At nVent, you will have the outstanding opportunity to lead our Tilburg site and drive it towards world-class operational excellence. We are looking for an ambitious leader who will successfully implement our Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and Cash initiatives.
- Drive leadership in the application of Lean Principles and Methods.
- Act as a change agent and drive production and the Tilburg location towards improved waste elimination in manufacturing and business processes.
- Provide strategy and direction to meet production plans.
- Partner with functional partners (planning, sales, quality, lean, safety, finance, HR) for site activities.
- Establish site Transformation Plans and lead the site to the execution and strategy development.
- Build an environment of continuous improvement, including efficient procedures, systems, tooling, and equipment to continually improve manufacturing efficiency.
- Be responsible for ensuring strategic plans for talent acquisition, employee development, and people management are in place.
- Collaborate with nVent leadership to find opportunities, implement action plans, follow up, and ensure achievement of enterprise goals.
YOU HAVE:
- An academic background in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related business field is preferred.
- A minimum of 8+ years’ experience as a site manager leading an organization with more than 100+ people.
- Ideally, 10+ years of manufacturing experience.
- A proven track record of Lean implementation and crafting a lean culture.
- A can-do mentality and demonstrated leadership skills.
- Knowledge of process improvement concepts and methods, along with the flexibility and adaptability to accept, support, and deploy new processes in a changing business environment.
- Skills in project management and organization.
