Are you ready to make a significant impact in an innovative environment? At ORBCOMM, we’re seeking a Procurement and Production Administrator to support our Manufacturing team in Hoensbroek, Netherlands. Reporting to the Procurement Leader, EMEA and partnering closely with the Senior Manager, Manufacturing Operations, you’ll drive administrative accuracy and operational excellence across procurement and production workflows.

This onsite role in Hoensbroek offers valuable in-person collaboration with procurement, production, warehousing, and finance teams—enabling real impact.


What You’ll Do:

  • Handle all administrative tasks associated with purchase order processing.
  • Support in creating manuals and instructions for production and procurement.
  • Complete purchase order files for accurate invoice handling.
  • Follow up on pending purchase orders to ensure on-time delivery.
  • Manage required administration in the ERP system for inspection route release.
  • Manage and order office supplies.
  • Support by answering incoming calls for the procurement department.
  • Conduct ROP (reorder point) reviews in the ERP system and advise the Procurement Leader on needs.
  • Assist with production or warehousing activities during peak periods, holidays, or sick leave.
  • Perform other relevant administrative tasks and supporting duties related to procurement and production.


Who You Are:

You’re a strategic thinker with a knack for excellence, ready to tackle multiple priorities with agility and grace. If you have:

Education & Experience:

  • MBO work and thinking level (department secretary or equivalent).
  • Prior work experience is a plus.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Solid knowledge of administrative software and Microsoft Office.
  • Basic communication skills; Dutch and English (written and verbal).
  • Energetic, proactive, pragmatic, and flexible; great team player.
  • Able to work autonomously with discipline and accuracy; stress-resistant.
  • Interest in technical/manufacturing environments
