Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Quality Assurance Associate to support the implementation and maintenance of our QA systems. This role ensures that all quality-related activities—planned, scheduled, and unplanned—are executed in compliance with company procedures and industry standards. The successful candidate will also contribute to training management, audit readiness, and continuous improvement initiatives within a dynamic manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute, document, and report QA activities in line with company procedures.
- Maintain and update the Training Matrix and Schedule in collaboration with department managers.
- Notify staff of upcoming or overdue competency tests.
- Receive, track, and manage accurate training records.
- Organize and administer competency assessments.
- Promote continuous improvement across QA processes and documentation.
- Provide administrative support to the QA department, including recordkeeping and reporting.
- Assist in the planning and execution of internal and external audits and inspections.
- Fluent in English (spoken and written).
- HBO-level education with relevant experience, preferably in aerospace.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a quality compliance role within manufacturing (aviation experience is a plus).
- Familiarity with quality and safety standards.
- Experience in delivering or coordinating quality/safety training.
- Understanding of QA system processes (Audits, Deviations, CAPA, Change Control).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including root cause analysis.
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Proactive mindset with a commitment to excellence.
- Knowledge of EASA Part 145 and AS9100 regulations.
- Experience with Safety Management Systems.
- Attention to Detail: Ensures accuracy and thoroughness in documentation and processes.
- Organizational Skills: Manages multiple tasks and maintains structured records.
- Analytical Thinking: Identifies trends and supports continuous improvement.
- Problem-Solving: Investigates issues and supports CAPA initiatives.
