In this role, you have the opportunity to
play a pivotal role in ensuring the compliance of our innovative products with Philips requirements, global regulations, and safety standards. Join our business Grooming & Beauty division, located in Drachten, where you’ll contribute to the development and Life Cycle Management of our products.
You are responsible for
- You will support the Life Cycle Management (LCM) project teams of Grooming & Beauty and ensure that new products to be launched meet all the relevant requirements.
- With the team you perform an initial impact analysis on the new projects and define the relevant actions and support the project lead with project plan.
- You ensure that appropriate verification and/or validation plans are made and instruct T&V lab accordingly.
- You analyse the test results and define further actions where needed.
- Validates key design inputs like usability, reliability, performance, manufacturability, safety, serviceability, and sustainability.
- Provides effective oversight of the execution of the quality, reliability, sustainability, Risk Management activities, and all of design related activities during the product lifecycle.
- Performs independent technical assessment on product quality performance and post-market product quality analysis to lead quality related problem solving and root cause analysis during design and manufacturing and initiates field actions when required.
- Supports stakeholders during the execution of quality system- and product audits and inspections.
- Independently Produces and completes Quality Engineering documents.
- Responsible for Performing timely quality engineering tasks like assessing quality plans, assessing product designs, and reviewing test and other performance data, analyses market feedback, lead root cause analysis and quality problem solving.
- You will be located at Philips Drachten and working in an international environment, connecting with supply sides in Europe and Asia.
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience.
- You have a technical master’s or bachelor’s degree in electronics, electrical engineering, mechatronics, or equivalent.
- You have at least 2-5 years work experience in multidisciplinary teams. Preferably in a quality and/or product development environment.
- You have a quality mindset and preferably experience with Doors, Windchill and Trackwise.
- You have affinity and/or experience with BOMCheck, REACH and RoHS compliance.
- You have strong communication and influencing skills in English and preferable a basic knowledge of the Dutch language.
- You have a proactive and supportive attitude towards the LCM team, being a role model for the Quality function.
