Requirements
THE ROLE
As Quality / Process Engineer you will be the first point of contact for internal and external technical quality issues related to our products. This can be during the development of the product, production at our partners or with products at our customers. You will be responsible for all quality documents related to the product and the final release of the product before shipment to our customer. With that, this role is critical in maintaining the integrity of technical documentation, engineering software integration, workflow development, and efficiency improvement. This role reports to the Quality manager as part of the Operations department.
YOU’LL MAKE AN IMPACT BY
Fostering the development and implementation of standardized processes, methods and tools to improve efficiency and quality of activities performed.
Being a key stakeholder during product definition and industrialization to ensure efficient manufacturing and maintenance of the product.
Being the interface between Product Management, Product Engineering, Procurement and Manufacturing to ensure configuration control of the product definition.
Translating our technical requirements to our Supply partners.
Exchanging Technical Product Data (TPD) with our partners.
Acting as the first point of contact between our partners and Skytree.
Evaluation and approval of Product related quality documents.
Configuration management of our products, including Change Control.
Quality reporting on nonconformities including analysis.
Identifying process improvements and making proposals for implementation.
Assisting the Procurement team with maintaining an Approved Supplier List as well as monitoring the performance of critical suppliers/partners.
Performing Internal and External audits and participating in Risk Assessments.
Having a helicopter view over the processes and evaluating the requirements of the different stakeholders.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Bachelor / MSc in Mechanical, Production engineering, Industrial engineering or similar.
Approximately 2 years of experience in a technical environment as Quality, Process or Manufacturing Engineer.
Affinity with quality management.
Experience with ISO 9001 Quality Management System is a plus.
Solid understanding of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) concepts and processes,
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to perform root cause analysis for data integrity issues.
Experience with Google Workspace and Microsoft D365 or similar.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills- engaging with all levels in the organization, from technical specialist to top management.
You take initiative and think out of the box.
You are already based in the Netherlands, within commuting distance to Amsterdam.
