As a Repair & Vendor Performance Manager, you will be responsible for managing the repair cycle of aircraft engine parts. You will also oversee vendor performance, ensuring timely turnaround, cost efficiency, and quality standards are met. This role is critical in supporting the sales and logistics teams by ensuring repaired parts meet airworthiness, commercial and operational expectations.
YOUR TASKS
- Manage teardown projects to ensure optimal returns
- Using SAP to define minimum stock levels, create and manage repair orders for engine parts post-inspection.
- Monitor and track repair progress to ensure timely return to stock.
- Follow up with vendors on delays and take corrective actions as needed.
- Ensure repair quotes are aligned with sales pricing and profitability targets.
- Build up relationships with business partners, within an international B2B environment
- Negotiate repair pricing and contractual terms with vendors as applicable.
- Conduct regular vendor performance reviews and audits.
- Develop and implement vendor improvement plans based on KPIs.
- Monthly reporting of procurement, sales and inventory KPI’s
- Work closely with the sales team to ensure repaired parts meet required standards.
- Liaise with engineering for technical support and continuous learning.
- Support Shop Visit Management via material supply & cost and time management
