At NACO (Netherlands Airport Consultants), part of Haskoning, you’ll help design the airports of tomorrow. As a Special Airport Systems Modeller, you play a key role in designing and modelling complex technical systems that are essential to airport operations worldwide.
You will work in multidisciplinary teams on integrated projects where the aim is to create the latest and newest airports. The systems we are designing are system for Passenger information, Security, and Communication. Your work directly contributes to a better travel experience for millions of passengers.
What you will do as a SAS modeller
As a SAS Modeller, you are responsible for modelling the Special Airport Systems in Autodesk Revit. You will work closely with system engineers and international partners to deliver an integrated design for the client.
Your tasks mainly are:
- Modelling Special Airport Systems in Autodesk Revit and with the use of Dynamo for repetitive modelling tasks and coordinating with other disciplines via a common data environment like BIM360/ACC.
- Applying OpenBIM standards (IFC/BCF) for collaboration with international partners.
- Supporting the creation of technical documentation and schematics or schedules.
- Collaborating with colleagues from around the world within the Haskoning network.

You’ll join the Airport Asset Design BIM team in Delft, consisting of around 25 colleagues. This team is part of the international NACO network, with over 230 colleagues from 40+ nationalities. The working language is English, and the culture is open, collaborative, and innovation driven.
At NACO, we combine 75 years of aviation expertise with the latest digital technologies. We work on projects at airports such as Schiphol, JFK, Changi, and many others around the globe.
What you bring
You are a precise and proactive modeller with a passion for technology, digitalisation, and aviation. You enjoy working in an international environment and have strong communication skills.
You have:
- A completed bachelor’s degree in architecture, electrical engineering, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of experience with Autodesk Revit modelling.
- Teamplayer attitude.
- The ability to research conflict, problems or other issues on your own
- Experience with BIM360, AutoCAD, IFC/BCF, and preferably Dynamo.
- Affinity with Airport systems or utility building projects.
- Strong knowledge of both Dutch and English language, spoken and written.
