The Studio is building in-house Post Production Services for the exclusive use of our shows. The Post Production Services team is charged with the strategy, implementation, and operational management of our purpose-built facilities and vendor partnerships, providing bleeding-edge technology, workflows, and services to our filmmakers.
About the Role
As part of Netflix’s in-house Post Production Services team, the Technical Operations Specialist will play a key role in ensuring our post environments across EMEA are optimized to meet the creative and technical demands of filmmakers, editors, and internal stakeholders. You will be able to build and maintain strong relationships with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders, and be able to understand and advise across production and post-production workflow best practices, to ensure projects are properly briefed and set up in order to be serviced by our Post Service operations.
You will support a broad range of picture-related services - dailies, editorial, screenings, QC, ingest, and finishing - and contribute to Netflix’s global mission to innovate and deliver consistent, high-quality services at scale while maintaining local nuance.
This role is ideal for someone who is operationally rigorous, technically skilled, and passionate about providing seamless support to productions across multiple countries and cultures.
What You’ll Do
Provide technical support for post-production operations across EMEA, including Netflix facilities and remote workflows.
Support a wide variety of workflows, including ingest, screenings, offline editorial, QC, and delivery.
Act as an escalation point for internal and show-side editorial teams in the region, ensuring rapid resolution with minimal disruption.
Maintain and monitor picture and sound environments
Collaborate with global engineering and product teams to implement Netflix-enabled tools and ensure compatibility with regional workflows.
Contribute to workflow documentation, SOPs, and preventive maintenance schedules.
Help identify and roll out tooling solutions to improve efficiency and reduce manual work.
Support pilot programs and new service implementations in the region in partnership with regional and global leads.
Mentor junior team members and share best practices across functions and geographies.
What Sets You Apart
Proven experience supporting end-to-end post-production workflows, including editorial, dailies, ingest, finishing, and QC.
Strong knowledge of post-production tools such as Resolve, Baselight, Media Composer, Pix, Colorfront, Silverstack, and Shotput.
Solid understanding of colour science, calibration standards, and CalMan workflows.
Familiarity with network and workstation architecture; comfortable across Mac, Windows, and Linux environments.
Experience with IP protocols (e.g. SMPTE 2110, AES67, Dante) and AV systems such as Crestron and Q-Sys is a plus.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to bridge technical detail and creative intent.
Self-starter with the ability to prioritize and adapt in a fast-paced, often ambiguous environment.
Enthusiastic team player with a commitment to high performance and a service-first mindset.
