SUMMARY OF DUTIES
Performs tender and contract responsibilities.We are seeking a highly motivated Tender Management Specialist to join our dynamic team that is dedicated to making a difference in healthcare. In this role, you will be responsible for:
Analysing tender alerts to determine relevance to Merit Medical products.
Prepare application documents for official tender submissions via web portal or email.
Complete tender submissions by arranging requested documents and ensuring compliance with requirements.
Coordinate pricing schedules with Sales for tender submissions, including related analysis.
Administer awarded tenders in the Oracle database to ensure adherence to requirements.
Submit and maintain e-catalogues and product classifications.
Prepare and communicate analyses of contract awards and performance, including potential price adjustments.
Provide usage information on contracts to the appropriate authority when needed.
Update and maintain electronic catalogues.
Collaborate with Regulatory, Legal, and HR departments to ensure accurate and complete tender submissions.
Upload and maintain contract price lists, including updates related to product extensions and discontinuations.
Advise the Sales team on upcoming tender renewals to ensure timely customer engagement.
Perform other duties and tasks as required.
We believe that in order to be the best fit with this position you will need to have the following qualifications:
• Education and/or experience equivalent to an Associate’s Degree.
• Two years of relevant experience in tender and contract management or a comparable field.
• Proven experience with computer applications, including spreadsheets, word processing, databases, and other relevant software programs, is required
• Excellent analytical skills, with ability to understand financial impact of decisions.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented and excellent time/project management skills.
• Results-oriented, with ability to work effectively in a matrix environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate well--verbally and in writing--with others.
• Fluent in the language applicable to the region, both written and verbally
