We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Third-Party Warehousing Manager to join our Global Supply Chain team. In this critical role, you will oversee third-party logistics (3PL) warehousing operations while leading a significant distribution network optimization project. This position requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and the ability to manage cross-functional relationships both internally and externally.
As the key liaison between our organization and third-party logistics providers, you will ensure warehousing operations are aligned with our performance, quality, and regulatory standards—driving operational excellence and continuous improvement throughout the network.
What will you be doing?
1. Network Optimization Project (2025–2026):
Lead the planning and execution of a comprehensive Network Optimization Plan.
Act as Project Manager coordinating internal and external resources.
Support the development of processes and procedures at the new warehouse location.
Monitor project milestones, conduct progress reviews, and communicate updates to stakeholders.
2. Operational Oversight:
Oversee day-to-day operations of third-party warehouses to ensure efficiency, compliance, and service excellence.
Ensure adherence to Good Distribution Practice (GDP) guidelines, SOX controls, and internal quality standards.
Support audits and manage corrective actions and continuous improvement plans.
Develop and implement SOPs to optimize warehousing and logistics performance.
3. Performance Management:
Establish and monitor KPIs to evaluate warehouse productivity and service levels.
Analyze performance metrics, identify gaps, and implement corrective actions.
Work closely with service providers to drive operational improvements and exceed service targets.
4. Contract & Relationship Management:
Negotiate, manage, and monitor contracts and service level agreements with 3PL providers.
Serve as the primary contact for third-party warehousing partners.
Coordinate with legal and procurement on renewals, amendments, and vendor compliance.
What will you need to be successful?
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
Advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., APICS, PMP) are a plus.
Experience:
Proven track record managing third-party logistics providers, with a focus on warehousing and distribution.
Strong project management experience in network optimization or supply chain transformation initiatives.
Deep understanding of warehousing operations, including inventory control, order fulfillment, and regulatory compliance.
Experience working in a global environment with internal and external stakeholders, suppliers, and freight forwarders.
Skills:
