CASHIER (Partime – 12 hours)
Department: Retail
Reporting to: Store Manager
Receive, disburse and process all transactions in accordance with the Company policy and protocol, while providing outstanding customer service to the Michael Kors customer.
Major Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Customer service
- Provide the highest level of customer service, by greeting each customer in a warm and friendly manner
- Respond to customer questions and concerns quickly and effectively as well as ensuring customer satisfaction
- Provide customers with information on procedures or store policies
Operations
- Compute and record totals of transactions
- Assist with counting cash drawers at the beginning and end of shifts to ensure that float amounts are correct and all registers contain adequate change
- Issue receipts, refunds, credits, or change due to customers
- Maintain clean and orderly checkout areas
Job Requirements:
- Experience of retail and cash management
- Able to work as a team member
- Excellent personal organizational skills with attention of detail and accuracy
- Able to work under pressure and to thrive in a fast-paced, challenging environment
- Able to work on different tasks easily – Multi-tasking
- Able and willing to deliver an exceptional customer service
