What You’ll Do
Operations Management
- Plan and coordinate warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, and dispatching goods.
- Ensure all operations are performed efficiently and according to safety and quality standards.
- Optimize warehouse layout and workflows to maximize space utilization and productivity.
Inventory Control
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure accurate records through regular cycle counts and audits.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies in inventory counts and take corrective actions.
- Coordinate with purchasing and production teams to manage stock levels and prevent shortages or overstock situations.
Quality Assurance
- Implement and maintain quality control procedures to ensure products meet company standards.
- Inspect goods received and shipped to ensure they are in good condition and meet quality requirements.
- Address any quality issues promptly and report them to relevant departments.
Transportation Management
- Track shipments and resolve any issues or delays in transit.
- Help with receiving and unloading deliveries.
- Assist in loading outgoing shipments when necessary.
Documentation
- Complete and maintain accurate records of picking, packing, and inventory activities.
- Use warehouse management systems (WMS) or other software to track orders and inventory.
Communication
- Collaborate with procurement and production staff to ensure efficient workflow.
- Report any issues or discrepancies to the appropriate department or personnel.
Compliance
- Adhere to all warehouse safety guidelines, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Follow company policies and procedures regarding order fulfillment and inventory management.
Requirements
