DEPT®/Data has the mission to help DEPT® make the best work in the industry using data to optimize everything we do. This role sits within our Data & AI practice, which includes data strategists, data scientists, engineers, CRO and analysts that work alongside DEPT® teams around the world across different services – from commerce, to full-funnel media, content engineering to internal operations.
JOB PURPOSE
You will be leading our European analytics team, our largest data team within the wider data craft alongside teams like data science, BI and CRO.
As a lead you drive the direction for our analytics team and grow it as a business. You challenge the team members and support them by facilitating an environment where all team members can get the best out of themselves in terms of their professional career and growth as well as deliverables for the clients.
In collaboration with the team members and craft leads you define the strategy for the team, keep track of developments in the market and translate those to the services we offer to our clients.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for the analytics craft, our largest European data team, with team members sitting across UK, NL, DK, DE, CH and MK.
- People management and guidance of analytics colleagues. (primarily the seniors/leads that have this role towards juniors)
- Overall commercial responsibility for the team’s growth
- Operationally responsible for utilisation of the team
- Setting ambitious targets for the team, devising a plan to achieve those targets and making sure we efficiently achieve the client’s objectives;
- Actively lead and develop our ways of work within the analytics craft;
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- Have extensive experience as a consultant within the data field, preferably related to digital marketing;
- Know your way around Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager;
- Know how to translate a client's struggle into a data analytics solution;
- Have experience with leading and coaching colleagues;
- Are proactive and will help us build our Data Analytics proposition;
- Have a commercial drive;
- Have experience at a digital agency (bonus points)
