JOB MISSION:
New Balance is seeking an Associate Marketing Manager, Running, to help shape the future of our brand across EMEA.
In this role, you’ll lead bold and authentic campaigns that strengthen our presence in the running community—collaborating with teams to drive strategy, ignite engagement, and champion inclusivity every step of the way.
MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Running Brand Marketing
Collaborate closely with regional New Balance Marketing teams to create and implement localized go-to-market strategies.
Support regional campaign planning.
Develop custom running activations for regional key accounts that drive growth and strengthen key relationships.
Be the point of contact for all tier 1 and 2 regional events, including guest list and bib organization.
Coordinate the regional product launch calendar in line with Global Game Plan.
Aligning photo shoots and content capture for launches not on the game plan but hold local importance in EMEA.
Running Sports Marketing
Enhance the impact of key athletes and event assets across EMEA by driving compelling storytelling, content creation, social media, PR, and campaign development.
Represent New Balance at major events across the region as needed, ensuring brand presence and alignment.
Collaborate with event and product teams to deliver flawless support for all EMEA-funded activations.
Create and contribute to inspiring narratives and innovative project formats that resonate with diverse audiences.
Support hospitality efforts at key New Balance partner events, ensuring a premium and inclusive experience.
Own the coordination of EMEA seeding strategies for running influencers across both footwear and apparel.
Build and nurture a strong sport-performance network—including sports institutes, coaches, clubs, federations, scientists, and universities—to elevate our presence in the running community.
EMEA Game Plan support
Identify and lead the creation of localized assets to complement global materials, ensuring regional relevance and resonance.
Facilitate seamless communication between Global, Regional, and Local New Balance Marketing teams to align strategies and share key updates.
Ensure global running marketing initiatives are effectively integrated into regional market plans across Europe.
Distribute global marketing assets across all EMEA markets, ensuring timely access and consistent brand execution.
Act as the primary point of contact for EMEA markets, providing support and responding to general marketing inquiries.
Trade Marketing Support
Identify and activate commercial brand opportunities to grow market share within performance categories across EMEA.
Partner with key specialty accounts to deliver tailored DTC and ecommerce support that drives relevance and results.
Provide running specialty accounts with customized content and social media strategies to enhance local engagement.
Support the EMEA Running Team in planning and driving events such as the Running Summit, Elite Dealer Meetings, and Product Showcases.
Serve as the main point of contact for athlete trade marketing opportunities, ensuring alignment and timely execution across the region.
Oversee day-to-day management of key account relationships, including full campaign execution, performance tracking, and reporting.

Background in brand marketing, ideally in a similar role.
Digitally fluent, with experience in social media and content production.
Skilled in activating large-scale events and brand experiences.
