Due to significant commercial growth, WSP is seeking to enhance the expertise of our growing Finance Department. We are currently looking for a Business Controller to join us and to support us in our next phase of growth.

In this role, you will join a multidisciplinary team that embodies our company's core values: solidarity, a passion for large-scale and complex projects, and a spirit of innovation and conviviality.

Reporting to the Finance Director and working closely with our financial control department and Business Unit directors, this is an opportunity for a motivated Business Controller to take the next step in their career. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams and build strong partnerships with product managers to deliver impactful solutions.

YOUR NEW ROLE, WHATS INVOLVED?

• Partner with business units to provide financial insights and support strategic decisions
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and performance tracking
• Analyze financial results and identify cost-saving and result improving opportunities
• Prepare management reports and support business case evaluations
• Ensure compliance with financial policies and support process improvements
• Further develop the management reports and dashboards
• Understanding the dynamics and financials of the projects in the Business Unit, and act proactively where necessary
• Together with the colleagues from the Finance Team help to further professionalize the financial processes and project control. As well as improving the quality of data in the ERP system.
• Create innovative tools that empower WSP Netherlands to take greater control of its results.

WHAT IF IT WAS YOU?

• 5- 8 years working within a similar role.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Analytical thinking skills and problem-solving skills.
• Proactive and result oriented approach to work.
• Fluency in English (Dutch is preferred)
• Experienced Excel User
• Experience working with Power BI and AFAS Is preferred.
