A Day in the Life
As a global organization working with stakeholders and professionals across the healthcare system, Medtronic is uniquely positioned to partner with other healthcare organizations to address the changing landscape. Our Integrated Health Solutions (IHS) business was formed as part of our commitment to aligning value and working with partners in new ways.This role is responsible for architecting and developing partnerships across the Benelux countries. You will meet with existing and new clients to discuss how Medtronic Integrated Health Solutions can best support them through consulting, digital, and managed services that enable partnership creation. The successful candidate should have deep knowledge of the healthcare system and a commercial profile that enables building trust, effective problem-solving for clients, and a strong foundation for efficient account management. You will travel up to 30% of the time for client meetings across the Benelux countries. The Netherlands office is located in Eindhoven, and the role will be primarily remote.
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:
- Conduct business development advisory and consulting together with the EMEA IHS capabilities
- Be engaged in all steps of the service and solutions sales cycle from strategic account analysis; solution set architecture; consulting engagements; internal deal governance; contract negotiation and handover to the service activation team
- Work with Enterprise Account leads to create transformational programs and partnerships in strategic accounts
- Support the different Medtronic device and therapy business units to identify and execute growth opportunities through enterprise partnerships with nominated accounts
- Position Medtronic Integrated Health Solutions as a partner in healthcare delivery with key decision-makers within the healthcare system
Required Knowledge and Experience:
- Experience in solution design, delivery, and sales, e.g., in solutions/services sales or as a managing consultant
- Relevant master’s degree (technical or management) with several years in healthcare
- Strong commercial acumen and analytical skills to understand markets and customer needs
- Thorough knowledge of Benelux healthcare systems, including funding, patient flows, and decision-making
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills in English and Dutch
- Team player and relationship builder with ability to work in international, matrix organizations
- Clinical background and experience communicating in diverse healthcare environments is a plus
