To support our growing presence in Europe, we are looking for a Business Support Manager to join our team in Heerlen, the Netherlands.
What you do on a typical day
- Manage workforce planning team activities to ensure the right number of people are present on-site based on operational needs.
- Oversee the cooperation with temporary staffing agencies, including setting up SLAs, negotiating agency share agreements, and holding agencies accountable for performance and headcount targets.
- Lead the training department, ensuring that site training programs are delivered effectively and within agreed timelines, in coordination with key stakeholders.
- Oversee accurate and compliant workforce data entry in the Protime time registration system by managing the team responsible for system maintenance and updates.
- Provide leadership and day-to-day management of the team to ensure alignment with site goals and operational efficiency..
What you need to succeed at GXO
- Solid experience in a similar role within a production and / or logistic environment
- Proven leadership experience
- Proficiency in English and preferably Dutch, and excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, including Microsoft Excel
- Commitment to deliver high quality work and a great eye for detail
