What will you do?
As Business Unit Controller, you will be the financial sparring partner for the management of Bayards Yacht Structures and Bayards Aluminium Solutions. You will be based in Nieuw-Lekkerland and report directly to the CFO of Bayards Group. Your analyses and advice will directly contribute to the success of our projects and the strategic direction of the business units. Your responsibilities include:
- Preparing and monitoring financial plans, budgets, and forecasts
- Financial follow-up of ongoing projects in close collaboration with project managers and BU managers
- Identifying risks (such as warranty issues) and discussing them with management
- Cost control and identifying opportunities for savings
- Creating clear reports and business analyses
- Presenting financial insights to internal and external stakeholders
- Contributing to process optimization and compliance
- Setting up and improving the administrative organization and systems

Who are you and what do you bring?
- A completed bachelor’s or master’s degree in finance or business economics
- 2 to 4 years of experience in a similar role within a project-driven organization
- Strong analytical skills and a proactive attitude
- Excellent communication skills: able to explain complex financial information clearly
- Familiarity with financial software and ERP systems
- Integrity, organizational awareness, and entrepreneurial spirit
- Proficiency in Dutch and English, both written and spoken
