The Channel Inventory Planner Analyst is accountable for inventory planning at a group of service centers and will be the main driver of inventory health at those locations.
For the assigned locations, they will be the main POC for the Parts Supervisors and Parts Advisors for local parts availability.
The role will contribute to implementation of process improvements, performing data analysis, and assess performance of the tools and processes.
The key stakeholders for this role are the Parts organization, the DC (distribution center) planning team as well as regional warehouse operations.
The primary KPIs for this role are the inventory health, inventory turns, parts success, excess and obsolete.
The role will work work with different teams to communicate common goals, solicit information, and gain consensus and buy-in.
What You'll Do
- Execute regular review of Min-Max/re-order points for the assigned region and detect/highlight the missing parts, under- or over-estimated parts and agree with stakeholders on timely correction.
- Maintain and review FOQs to optimise the quantity and avoid frequent shipments of parts from regional distribution centers.
- Driving initiatives for continuously improving the planning recommendation tool.
- Support the Channel Planning Manager for the root cause analysis on system gaps and data discrepancies. The candidate must play the role of the analytical mastermind behind the inventory team.
- Measure, control, and improve the end-to-end KPIs and provide the root cause analysis on the hits and misses.
- To be able to guide team members with expertise in data analytics and tools development.
