About the Role:
We are seeking a visionary and execution-focused Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to lead the technology strategy and execution of our product development roadmap. As the CTO, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of technology and engineering across our product suite, from architecture and infrastructure to innovation and delivery.
You’ll work closely with the executive team to align tech priorities with business goals, while building and leading ahigh-performance engineering team capable of delivering scalable, secure, and user-centric products.
Key Responsibilities:
Technology Strategy:
1. Define and drive the company’s technology vision, architecture, and long-term roadmap in alignment with product and business goals.
2. Provides technical leadership and guidance to product development teams and Owns the Product Architecture.
Product Development Leadership:
1. Oversee full-cycle product development from planning and prototyping to launch and iteration—with a focus on speed, quality, and scalability.
2. Propose architectural design in alignment with business requirements and able to justify technically the design considerations between the different available technologies.
Team Leadership:
1. Build, mentor, and manage high-performing engineering and technical teams. Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
2. Assess, review, test and implement various architecture and design patterns and work with the development teams to ensure alignment to the architecture.
Technical Excellence
Ensure best practices in software engineering, system design, Automation Testing team, DevOps, and data security are consistently applied.
Cross-functional Collaboration:
Work with Product, Design, Sales, and Marketing to align development efforts with market needs and business objectives.
Innovation & R&D:
Identify emerging technologies and trends that can provide competitive advantage. Champion innovation within the company.
Infrastructure & Scalability:
Ensure system reliability, uptime, and scalability to support growth and customer needs.
Budgeting & Resource Management:
Own the technology budget and make informed decisions on resource allocation, vendor partnerships, and tool selection.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience (15+ years) in software engineering, with at least 5 years in a senior technology leadership role, preferably in a product-focused environment.
- Strong background in system architecture, Product development like Java, Angular and any cloud platforms modern web and mobile technologies.
- Track record of scaling engineering teams and shipping high-impact products.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and strategic thinking skills.
- Experience working in Agile environments with cross-functional teams.
- Hands-on approach with a deep understanding of both technology and business.
Nice to Have:
- Experience in B2B SaaS or logistics tech environment.
- Exposure to AI/ML, DevOps automation, or data engineering.
- Prior startup or high-growth company experience.
