The role
As Cloud Service Delivery Manager, you will serve as the operational linchpin between AIMMS teams (Product, Customer Success, Data) and our Azure Managed Service Partner, Intercept. Your mission is twofold:
Safeguard customer experience by ensuring cloud service uptime, performance, and security.
Elevate our delivery model through standardization, operational excellence, and cost optimization.
This position is ideal for a hands-on expert with a sharp eye for detail and a passion for building resilient, scalable processes that can keep pace with our growth.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Service Coordination: Act as the primary liaison between AIMMS and Intercept, aligning internal and external teams around cloud operations, incident response, and service performance.
Ensure Operational Excellence:
Create and maintain standard operating procedures and clear roles & responsibilities.
Organize a 24/7 incident response structure and develop robust playbooks for operations.
Build a sustainable knowledge base to support scale and maturity.
Incident & Crisis Management: Own the coordination of P1 incidents, including direct communication with customers, Intercept, and regulatory authorities.
Custom Infrastructure Delivery: Oversee delivery of customer-specific environments, including VPNs, databases, ETL pipelines, and commercial scoping.
Performance & Cost Optimization: Monitor, analyze, and improve service delivery metrics. Proactively manage Azure costs via Reservations, Compute Savings Plans, and other discounting mechanisms.
Reporting & Governance: Provide periodic reports on availability, performance, security, and cost to senior stakeholders.

Location: Preferably the Netherlands; remote within Europe is potentially possible with periodic in-person alignment.
What You Bring
A strong sense of ownership and vigilance in mission-critical operations.
Proven experience managing cloud-based services, preferably Azure.
Solid grasp of cloud cost structures, monitoring tools, and incident response.
Experience coordinating with external managed service providers.
Outstanding communication skills—adept at translating complex technical topics into clear, actionable insights for diverse stakeholders.
A structured, process-driven approach with a passion for continuous improvement.
Comfort with ambiguity and eagerness to shape and lead within a dynamic, evolving environment.
Nice to Have
Background in or collaboration with platform engineering or DevOps teams.
Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code, Azure-native services, and governance frameworks.
Knowledge of cloud security practices and compliance.
