As a Computer-Controlled Welder Operator, you’ll be responsible for managing advanced welding machinery to join steel plates — some up to 27 meters long — into massive casings used in essential infrastructure projects.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Operating semi-automatic welding machines, following precise Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS)
- Setting up and maintaining welding machines and related equipment
- Performing quality checks and conducting tests to ensure all products meet the highest standards
- Monitoring and verifying that the welding program is running correctly
- Reporting production data and documenting key process information
- Ensuring strict compliance with health and safety regulations, identifying and addressing potential risks on the production floor
Who You Are
- Enthusiastic about metalwork; welding experience is a strong plus
- In possession of a valid VCA Basic certificate (in Dutch or English) or willing to obtain it
- Experience with overhead cranes is an advantage
- Able to communicate in Dutch or English (minimum B1 level)
- Responsible, detail-oriented, and safety-conscious
- Based in or near the Rotterdam area
- Willing to work in a 3-shift system
