Our cloud-native platform powers the back-office servicing of mortgages and savings products. As a product-led and DevOps-driven organization, we operate in multi-disciplinary teams that combine software development, quality assurance, and product management.

We are looking for an experienced Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to join our executive team, leading a technology division of 150+ people and driving the successful delivery of our ambitious product roadmap.While maintaining high quality servicing of live clients.

For you, the execution is everything. As CTO, you are not just a visionary but a doer—someone who ensures that priorities are set, decisions are made, and progress is consistently delivered. You will be responsible for aligning our engineering and product teams to deliver new features and innovations to our clients in the Netherlands and
the United Kingdom.

Your leadership in action

• Technology Leadership & Execution – Define and implement a technology strategy that translates into on-time, high-quality product deliveries.
• Delivery Ownership – Ensure that our roadmap for the Netherlands and the UK is delivered as planned, proactively addressing risks and roadblocks.
• Engineering Excellence – Build and maintain a high-performing, execution-focused engineering culture, reinforcing DevOps principles and operational efficiency.
• Decision-Making – Drive structured decision-making, ensuring that issues are escalated, resolved, and not left lingering.
• Accountability & Reporting – Set clear KPIs, track progress, and communicate milestones to stakeholders.
• Collaboration with Product – Work closely with product management to prioritize the right features, balancing innovation, scalability, and compliance.
• Operational Efficiency – Continuously improve processes to increase development speed and reduce time-to-market

Hard Skills & Experience

• Proven Track Record of Delivery – You have led technology teams that ship complex SaaS products on time and at scale.
• 10+ years in software engineering, with at least 5 years in a technology leadership role (CTO, VP of Engineering, or equivalent).
• Experience in fintech or regulated industries with a strong understanding of compliance and security best practices.
• Expertise in SaaS architectures, cloud computing (AWS, Azure, GCP), and DevOps methodologies.
• Hands-on experience with scalable microservices architectures, API-driven platforms, and CI/CD automation.
• Experience managing engineering teams of 100+ people, fostering a culture of accountability and execution.
