Job Description
As Product Owner and Customer Journey Expert of squad CAPA, you’re heading an IT delivery team with 4 web engineers. Together you deliver capabilities for OneWeb, which is our internet banking platform (also known as Mijn ING (Zakelijk)), as well as some for the open environment (ING.nl, ING.be, etc). Both applications are used across multiple ING countries.
The team Within the Global Digital & Assisted Channels tribe, we are on a mission to scale our digital channels across all markets with a best-in-class experience. The CAPA squad is part of the OneApp & OneWeb Foundation product, which forms the core of ING’s global Mobile Banking app and Web channel. It supports digital banking across multiple ING retail markets, including the Netherlands, Belgium, Italy, Romania, Australia, and Germany. Other product teams within our tribe and across ING, build their features on top of these shared platforms.
CAPA is responsible for capabilities such as navigation, cookie banner, profile switching, etc. The goal for the team is to productize and improve existing capabilities, as well as develop new capabilities, so that we enable consuming countries to offer the best customer experience.
Roles and responsibilities:

Act as the bridge between business, IT, and product teams to deliver web capabilities.

Translate the voice of internal customers (product teams across countries) into clear, actionable requirements.

Prioritize the backlog of the squad according to ING priorities.

Collaborate closely with other CJEs, developers, and architects (in and outside our tribe) to ensure seamless integration and delivery.
- Manage complex stakeholder landscapes across multiple countries and domains.

A background in digital product delivery (customer journey design and/or business analysis).

A tech-savvy mindset, you’re comfortable working closely with mobile and/or web engineers and (want to) understand technical concepts.

Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, or PACE methodologies.

Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, you can align diverse interests and drive decisions, and you work and communicate (written and verbal) in a structured way.

Fluent in English, written and verbal.

>3 years experience as Customer Journey Expert or Business Analyst. Experience with IT delivery (font or backend).
