TONA SWOBODA, is a new fashion label founded by fashion designer Antonia Swoboda. The label has been established with the mission of providing an ethical and honest alternative within the current fashion market, all without sacrificing style.
TONA SWOBODA designs bold, ethically made pieces that fuse utilitarian structure with minimalist style, redefining modern femininity with a powerful edge. Each garment balances function and statement, drawing inspiration from industrial elements to create a uniquely empowered aesthetic.
In our atelier, we work with a small and dynamic team that is passionate about craftsmanship, creativity and sustainability. As an intern, you will collaborate closely with the designer and play a key role in building and shaping the label. Your ideas and input will be highly valued and you’ll have the opportunity to contribute across various areas.
This internship offers a unique chance to dive into many aspects of running your own label. You’ll gain hands-on experience in areas like branding, marketing and business strategy, alongside design and tailoring tasks. You’ll also have the freedom to explore different directions and develop skills that align with your interests and strengths.
What will you do?
You will have a variable and responsible role within our team. Responsibilities include:
Design and Creation
- Researching inspiration, concept development, collections and new projects
- Monitoring trends and developments within the fashion and creative sectors
- Creating mood boards, sketches, illustrations and technical drawings
- Translating ideas into designs and further developing them
- Performing repairs and adjustments to existing designs
Atelier Assistent
- Organizing and assisting with daily activities in the atelier
- Pattern making, sample development and working on the construction of garments
- Sorting and managing materials and archives
Content and Branding
- Contributing to creative content for social media and marketing purposes
- Assisting productions of photoshoots
- Contributing to trend analysis and brand presentations
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for an independent, flexible and creative intern who is eager to learn and make an impact. You recognize yourself in the following:
- You are a student in a fashion or design-related program (bachelor or master)
- You have experience with Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign
- You have knowledge of pattern making, tailoring and textile processing.
- You are communicative in English (speaking and writing)
- You are organized, structured and able to prioritize tasks
- You have a flexible attitude, can work independently and are not afraid to take initiative
- You are passionate about the fashion industry and thrive in a small, creative work environment
