As a European Planner, you ensure optimal use of our European production capacity. You are the go-to person for planning internal and external film resources and know how to balance customer needs with efficient, realistic scheduling. You maintain control, adjust where needed, and always think a few steps ahead.
What you’ll be working on:
Align production plans with customer demand, balancing internal and external film resources.
Track planning vs. actual performance and adjust where needed.
Improve forecast accuracy together with Sales and COR.
Coordinate closely with factories, suppliers, and internal departments.
Monitor and manage film stock levels, avoiding surplus or expiry.
Plan film extrusion based on intake, forecast, and available capacity.
Handle Intercompany and Work Orders, and place orders with external suppliers.
Contribute to continuous improvement projects and long-term planning.
Follow market trends and suggest improvements to optimize efficiency and cost.
Job requirements:
The ideal candidate shows these requirements:
A bachelor’s degree or equivalent level obtained through experience.
Several years of relevant work experience in an industrial production environment.
Solid IT skills — especially with ERP systems, Excel, and Outlook — and a sharp analytical mindset.
You’re structured, accurate, and stay calm under pressure.
Strong communication, negotiation, and decision-making skills based on objective reasoning.
Excellent command of English, both written and spoken.
Willingness to travel within Europe.
