About the position
We are looking for an experienced Team Leader to join one of our cold logistics warehouses. This is a full-time, long-term position. The work takes place in a chilled environment (approx. 6°C), so it’s important that the candidate is physically prepared for this setting.
Responsibilities
As a Team Leader, you will be responsible for the following:
– Planning and delegating daily tasks to warehouse workers based on operational needs and team availability
– Supervising ongoing work processes, ensuring tasks are completed accurately, efficiently, and on time
– Monitoring attendance, breaks, and timekeeping of your team and reporting any irregularities
– Being the first point of contact for your team and providing direct support and guidance throughout the day
– Training and onboarding new employees, introducing them to the work process, safety rules, and company standards
– Ensuring quality control by checking order accuracy, proper labeling, packaging, and pallet stability
– Communicating with warehouse management about daily progress, issues, delays, or stock discrepancies
– Supporting team morale and motivation, identifying challenges, and helping resolve conflicts or misunderstandings
– Reporting safety concerns or incidents, making sure that warehouse procedures and hygiene rules are followed
– Actively participating in improvement initiatives, suggesting optimizations for efficiency, safety, or workflow
– Performing warehouse tasks when needed, including order picking, labeling, wrapping, or moving goods with equipment (when necessary)
Candidate profile
– Proven experience as a team leader, shift supervisor, or coordinator
– Excellent communication and organizational skills
– Fluent in English or Dutch
– Full-time availability for long-term work
– Hands-on mentality, problem-solving approach
– Physically fit and able to work in a cold warehouse environment (approx. 6°C)
