We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Finance Coordinator to join our German agency in Hamburg. In this role, you will support the Finance team and report directly to the Finance Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in line with corporate accounting standards.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable efficiently.
- Process invoices, review and prepare purchase orders, and ensure timely payments.
- Maintain and reconcile interim and ledger accounts.
- Identify opportunities to optimize accounting procedures and strengthen internal controls.
- Support the Finance Manager with ad hoc reporting and financial analysis.
Requirements
- Completed commercial apprenticeship or equivalent qualification in Finance/Accounting.
- Relevant experience in Finance, Accounting, Reporting, and/or Taxes.
- Strong professional demeanor with high reliability, integrity, and analytical skills.
- Precise and detail-oriented, with the ability to follow procedures accurately while maintaining efficiency.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel; strong general IT skills.
- Experience with SAP is an advantage (internal training will be provided).
- Fluency in the local language and strong English language skills (written and spoken) are essential
