Job Overview:
TABS, Inc., provides assistance and guidance to foreign companies when starting or expanding their business in the US. TABS currently has offices in New York, Humble, TX, The Netherlands, & Spain. Due to our recent growth, we are seeking a full-time bookkeeper who will be working under the direct supervision of a Senior Bookkeeper. This client-facing position will be required to communicate and engage with our clients to manage finances for existing and prospective clients. A qualified candidate will have strong organizational, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills. The candidate also must be able to work independently and follow written instructions.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare accounting records by compiling and analyzing account information.
- Full cycle A/R & A/P
- Post Payroll Entries & Bank Transactions
- Maintain accurate financials records
- Provide support to the Senior Bookkeeper
- Provide Finance Administration Support
- Communicate with clients on information needed to perform bookkeeping tasks
- Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned
Job Qualifications and Skill Sets
- Strong working knowledge of accounting principles
- Great communication skills as this person will be communicating with clients on a regular basis
- Proficient in Microsoft Office with advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Proficient in QuickBooks
- Experience with other accounting software (Xero & Dynamics 365) a plus but not required.
- Detail-oriented
- Self-starter
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Critical thinking
- Fluent in English is required
- Fluent in Dutch is a plus, but not required

Screeningsvragen:
- Do you have the legal right to work in the Netherlands? If yes, do you require employer sponsorship?
- Do you have experience providing full bookkeeping services (not AR/AP) to multiple businesses as clients (not just for a single employer)?
- This is a hybrid position commuting to Eindhoven, NL three days a week. Are you comfortable with this schedule & commute?
- As a bookkeeper, have you been responsible for directly communicating with business clients regarding their bookkeeping, reporting, or financial records?
- Have you ever onboarded a new client by setting up their bookkeeping system from scratch (eg, creating a chart of accounts, connecting bank feeds, setting up vendors/customers, establishing processes)?
- How many business clients have you managed at one time in your bookkeeping role?
Ervaring:
- GAAP accounting: 1 jaar (Gewenst)
Licentie/certificaat:
- QuickBooks Pro Advisor certification (Gewenst)
