To accelerate our mission, we have built a brand-new, international commercial team reporting to the Global Sales and Marketing Excellence Director. Your team brings together Product, Pricing, Customer Concepts and Go-to-Market excellence to deliver market leading value propositions for our customers.
Your role
As our Global Pricing Manager, you'll be the cornerstone of our efforts to establish pricing as a strategic discipline across the Residential Business Area (BA). Your mission: to create a unified, data-driven approach to pricing that enhances profitability and aligns with our brand values. Collaborating with portfolio management and country teams, you will shape pricing policies, tools, and metrics, establishing and fostering a community of pricing experts to deliver impactful results.
You'll also spearhead the development of innovative pricing models, harness external best practices, and serve as the Residential BA Product Owner for IT-tools that support pricing strategies.
This is a hybrid role based in Apeldoorn, the Netherlands. We value flexibility and collaboration: you're encouraged to spend at least one to two days per week in our office while enjoying the support for your home office set-up and travel costs.
Your first 6-12 months
In your first 6–12 months, you’ll dive into this pivotal role by assessing the current state of pricing across our organization. Traveling across Europe, you’ll connect with colleagues in our diverse operating companies, gaining firsthand insights into the pricing maturity and unique dynamics of each OpCo.
From there, the stage is yours to envision what “great” could look like in every context. As our pricing expert, your insights will shape the future of our pricing strategy—we’re eager to hear your bold ideas and, most importantly, your roadmap for turning those ideas into reality.
In this Group role, you help us strike the right balance between global direction and local nuance. You will have the chance to influence how we structure and scale our market intelligence efforts from the ground up.
Your key tasks
Design and implement pricing policies, tools, and metrics that ensure profitability and brand alignment.
Lead a community of pricing experts, driving shared goals and knowledge sharing across our global organisation.
Develop and deploy pricing models to influence customer behaviour.
Collaborate with teams in operating companies to identify and resolve underperforming products and customers.
Act as the business owner for IT pricing tools, gathering requirements and aligning priorities with Group IT.
What you bring
A minimum of five years of experience in a similar role.
Proven expertise in pricing management, with a strong grasp of pricing models and methodologies.
Exceptional analytical skills and the ability to synthesize insights from financial data.
A trackrecord of stakeholder management and influencing across diverse, international teams.
Change management expertise, with the ability to navigate complexity and drive adoption.
A Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Economics, Industrial Engineering or a related field.
Preferably, you also bring:
Experience with physical product pricing, especially in consumer goods or distribution models.
Familiarity with omnichannel and e-commerce strategies.
