The Challenge
The HR department is organized within the HRM, ICT & General Affairs group of the Stamicarbon organization, part of NextChem and isthe Licensing and IP center for the Maire Group. This department liaise strongly with the Management Team to make sure accurate and correct HR related advice and support can be provided to managers and employees as well as with the HR organization of the Maire Group.
We are looking for a HR Business Partner
The HR Business Partner act as a trusted advisor and coach to our leadership team to develop and implement HR strategies that align with business objectives in an international work environment. You have close interaction and co-operation with mother company Maire group on global HR topics.
As an HR Business Partner, you:
- Help to realize the Business and HR strategies and support organizational, leadership and employee development;
- Lead HR change processes, in close collaboration with the Stamicarbon management and direct colleagues in the HR Department;
- Initiate and lead initiatives to enhance employee engagement, retention, and development;
- Contribute to the development of the global/international HRM strategy, in close cooperation with the vice President HR & General Affairs and HR team;
- Together with HR BP colleague, C&B Manager and Recruitment Officer set up a proposal for the HR Strategy and HR Plan, ensuring further communication in the organization;
- Co-Responsible to ensure role out of the HR Strategy/HR Plan, focusing on a.o. Organizational change, leadership development, cultural change, Sustainable Employability, DE&I;
- Prepare, execute and coordinate the implementation activities in the yearly HR cycle;
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations;
- Support in defining the HR Budget (including the yearly workforce plan and Training plan);
- Manage staffing plan in close co-operation with recruitment;
- Responsible for learning activities – support the development towards a high performing and learning organization.
You have at least 10 years of HR experience in an international and technical environment with highly educated professionals.
As a potential new colleague, you’ll have:
- Academic or Bachelor degree (HRM, Social or Organization Science);
- A strong business sense and show true understanding of organizational changes and its impact on the people;
- Knowledge of the relevant Dutch labor law and legal requirements is up to date;
- Ability to build and maintain good working (international) relationships with people with different cultures;
- Knowledge of Dutch Employment Laws;
- Self-driven personality with high degree of integrity;
- Good command of English spoken and written (Dutch is a plus);
- Excellent communication skills, relationship building and persuasiveness.
