We're seeking for an experienced HR professional to drive our high-performance culture and align HR initiatives with business objectives. In this role, you'll work closely with people managers to develop and implement local HR regulations and provide expert guidance on employee relations. You'll contribute to global HR projects and policy development, while collaborating with our Global HR team. The ideal candidate possesses great advising skills, and a deep understanding of HR best practices and employment law (specifically sickness procedures in the Netherlands) and has experience/affinity with working in a matrix organization.
Your Role:
- You will report into and work closely with the Vice President HRBP nd be based in our Amsterdam office (amsterdam Sloterdijk).
- You will look after the following countries; Netherlands, Spain, Denmark, Sweden, Luxembourg (approx. 600 employees).
- You will work closely with the people to develop the high performance culture necessary to achieve Citco business objectives.
- Initiate, develop and promote best practices to build right people and organisational solutions to execute against the business strategy.
- Providing guidance to local management, support and advice on all employee relation issues in compliance with employment law, Company policy and best practice employee relations.
- Research, review and implement HR policies and practices in cooperation with European HR team ensuring alignment with Citco culture, structure and strategic direction.
- Participate in various companywide projects as part of the HR team strategic objectives, such as global employee engagement initiatives.
- Work with established Centres of Expertise to develop effective HR solutions to meet business needs in areas such as recruitment, reward and learning
- Monitor and resolve employee relations issues.
- Adhere and comply with risk, audit and compliance requirements.
- Manage all absences and leaves (including the sickness administration)
About You:
- You have a BA or BS in Human Resources Management or Business related degree.
- Working at a mid-level in HR environment for the last 1-3 years.
- Your English and Dutch language skills are excellent. French language skills would be an additional advantage.
- You are capable to travel to Luxembourg once per quarter.
- Broad understanding of HR practices and methodologies.
- Facilitate and consultate at an advance level.
- Strong in advising techniques and styles.
- Business and customer service orientated.
