Purpose of the job
As an HR Support Officer at Samsung SDS, your role is central to ensuring the smooth operation of HR functions within a fast-paced logistics environment. You will be responsible for a wide range of HR administrative tasks, supporting both employees and management throughout various processes. Your ability to maintain accuracy, communicate effectively, and handle multiple priorities will be crucial in fostering a positive workplace culture and driving operational efficiency.
To succeed in this role, you’ll need organizational skills, and a proactive, hands-on approach. Fluency in Dutch and English, along with proficiency in essential office software, will enable you to deliver timely and precise HR support. Familiarity with Dutch labor laws and a strong customer-oriented mindset will further enhance your ability to contribute effectively to the team and the organization.
Manage the full spectrum of HR administration, including contract preparation, system entries, and ensuring all processes follow internal guidelines and checklists.
Support various HR processes such as recruitment, onboarding, training administration, and illness management.
Serve as the first point of contact for employees and managers on operational HR matters, such as performance management and competency evaluations.
Prepare and deliver monthly HR KPI reports, as well as ad-hoc data and insights for management.
Assist with payroll administration, agency coordination, performance cycles, case management, and exit processes.
Continuously identify and implement improvements in HR administration processes.
Contribute to employee engagement initiatives, including organizing social events, preparing newsletters, and supporting internal communications.
Profile
Minimum:
MBO-4 level education.
1-3 years’ experience in HR Administration
Strong command of both Dutch and English (spoken and written).
Proficient in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Preferred:
Knowledge of “Wet Verbetering Poortwachter” (Dutch illness legislation).
A strong customer focus, with a friendly and approachable attitude.
A hands-on mentality, able to adapt quickly and manage multiple tasks.
Resilience under pressure, combined with accuracy and attention to detail.
