As an HSE Coordinator, you are the key figure in ensuring a safe, healthy, and environmentally responsible working environment in our production facilities.
You are responsible for developing, implementing, and continuously improving our HSE policy in line with the dynamics of the food industry.
You will report to the QHSE Manager.
Your responsibilities:
- Coordinate and improve the Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) policy.
- Ensure compliance with national and international laws and regulations related to food safety, occupational safety, and environmental protection.
- Conduct risk assessments (RI&E), audits, and incident investigations.
- Train and educate employees on safety awareness and best practices.
- Act as the point of contact for external parties such as food safety authorities, environmental agencies, and certification bodies regarding HSE topics.
- Report on HSE performance and advise management on improvement opportunities.
What you bring:
- A bachelor’s degree (HBO level), preferably in Safety Management, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- Preferably 3 years of experience in a similar role within the food industry.
- Solid knowledge of relevant laws and standards (e.g. Occupational Health & Safety, HACCP, ISO 14001).
- Strong communication skills and the ability to influence all levels of the organization.
- A proactive, results-driven mindset with great attention to detail.
