For this position, we prefer candidates who are currently based in the Netherlands and who do not require visa sponsorship.


We are looking for an HR Generalist to manage and coordinate a wide range of HR operations and ensure our people processes are consistent, compliant, and aligned with company needs. You will be responsible for recruitment, onboarding, personnel administration, compensation activities, and day-to-day HR support. This position requires attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to work independently within a fast-growing company environment.


Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate HR administration including employment contracts, salary changes, onboarding and offboarding, and leave tracking.
  • Handle employee documentation for visa and work permit applications, 30% ruling, and UWV-related communication.
  • Manage pension administration across the company.
  • Maintain and update the HRIS, ensuring employee data is accurate and complete.
  • Keep company policies up to date and ensure they are aligned with current Dutch labor laws.
  • Act as the first point of contact for employees on topics such as time off, remote work, benefits, and workplace procedures.
  • Oversee the full recruitment cycle: job postings, interviews, offers, and communication with candidates.
  • Source candidates directly and support hiring managers in reaching qualified applicants when inbound traffic is limited.
  • Collaborate with the Office Manager on organizing internal events, team moments, and celebrations.

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of experience in a similar HR role within the Netherlands.
  • Strong knowledge of Dutch labor legislation, especially related to contracts, illness, and termination.
  • Experience with compensation and benefits, including bonus structures and pensions.
  • Proven experience with visa and 30% ruling applications.
  • Familiarity with HRIS platforms (e.g.,BambooHR, or similar).
  • Able to work independently and handle confidential information responsibly.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Fluent in English; Dutch is a plus.
  • You must already reside in the Netherlands and have valid working rights.
