The Role
We are looking for our first-ever HR Manager to lay the foundation for structured, people-focused HR practices at Delmar Safety BV. This is a part-time, high-impact role ideal for someone who thrives in international Small and Medium size Enterprises and can balance operational HR tasks with employee wellbeing and motivation.
You will act as a trusted advisor to management, a go-to support for team members, and a key player in maintaining a healthy and high-performing work culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement HR policies, documentation, and procedures from the ground up
- Monitor and support employee wellbeing and performance — both office staff and technicians
- Manage contracts, personnel files, and holiday planning
- Coordinate onboarding, offboarding, and performance reviews
- Advise team leads on underperformance, absenteeism, and team dynamics
- Support with IND (immigration) processes and expat-related documentation
- Handle core compliance topics: Dutch labor law, working hours, and general HR governance
- (Future phase) Contribute to employer branding and recruitment strategies
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 2-3 years of HR generalist experience, ideally in a small-to-mid-sized company
- Comfortable working independently, with hands-on initiative
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Fluent in English and Dutch (written and spoken); Turkish is a strong advantage
- Solid understanding of Dutch labor law and practical HR operations
- Availability for 16–24 hours per week, with flexibility in schedule and hybrid working
