We improve the lives of millions of people each year through our innovative healthcare products.As an Inbound Area Coordinator, you will support the operational flow within the Inbound department and act as a key link between operators, support teams, and leadership to ensure smooth and efficient warehouse operations. In this role, you are responsible for coordinating daily inbound activities and ensuring that processes run according to plan, while maintaining compliance with quality and safety standards. You’ll provide frontline support to operators, monitor progress, and proactively resolve issues to prevent delays.
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:
- Coordinate daily inbound operations including goods receiving, put-away, and documentation.
- Act as the first point of contact for operational questions or issues from inbound operators.
- Support adherence to Good Distribution Practices (GDP), safety guidelines, and internal procedures.
- Collaborate with planning, quality, and warehouse management to solve process-related issues.
- Monitor operational performance and escalate delays or bottlenecks where necessary.
- Support new hires and contribute to on-the-job training and cross-training activities.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives (e.g., 6S, lean, problem solving) and assist in maintaining documentation and compliance related to inbound processes.
Required Knowledge and Experience:
- Strong communication skills (minimum B2 level) in English, both verbal and written.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a dynamic warehouse environment.
- Team-oriented with a hands-on mentality and problem-solving mindset.
- High attention to detail, quality, and safety.
- Knowledge of SAP and/or other warehouse management systems (WMS).
Experience in logistics, warehousing, or coordination roles, familiarity with regulated environments or medical device handling, basic understanding of KPI tracking and reporting tools, leadership & People Management/Coaching experience and excel basic knowledge are considered advantages in this role.
